Robert Half is hiring: Full Time Accounting Services Accountant in Perkasie

We are looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our clients manufacturing team in Perkasie, Pennsylvania. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to financial operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills and experience in accounting processes such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reconciliation. Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and procedures in all financial tasks. - Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, including payment applications and reconciliations. - Maintain accuracy and timeliness in billing and client payment operations. - Perform balance sheet account reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy. - Complete monthly bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies as needed. - Enter daily labor ticket data into accounting software and reconcile weekly reports for payroll accuracy. - Assist in accounts payable tasks by entering invoices and investigating discrepancies. - Contribute to cross-training efforts to support team flexibility and knowledge sharing. Requirements - Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting roles, preferably within a manufacturing environment. - Proficiency in accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes. - Experience with balance sheet and bank reconciliations. - Advanced skills in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel. - Ability to enforce financial policies and drive accountability within the organization. - We offer contract, temporary and permanent placement solutions for finance and accounting, technology, marketing and creative, legal, and administrative and customer support roles.
