The Senior Manager, Analytical Services is responsible for managing a global team of scientists to provide comprehensive analytical and stability testing services supporting the Cytiva cell culture business and our customers. This position reports to the Senior Director, Technical Operations and Innovation, and is part of the MTEC Group located in Logan, UT and will be an on-site role. What you will do:
- Lead and manage a global team of scientists across analytical chemistry, cell culture, and stability services, setting priorities and evaluating progress.
- Oversee daily lab operations, including the GMP stability program and capital expenditure planning.
- Collaborate cross-functionally and globally with internal and external stakeholders to support cell culture and biopharma initiatives.
- Partner with product management and commercial teams to enhance programs, provide technical support, and drive customer engagement.
- Review scientific data and reports, ensuring quality and alignment with project goals and timelines.
- Minimum of BS in Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry or related field with 8 or more years' experience.
- Demonstrated leadership skills including a minimum of 2 years in people management
- Excellent project management, written and oral communication, and organizational skills, ability to pivot quickly and show flexibility to meet customer needs
- GMP/GLP regulated laboratory environment
- Understanding of ICH and FDA guidelines
- Analytical chemistry techniques including ICP/MS, GC/MS, LC/MS and UPLC
