The

Contracts and Negotiation Manager

for Cytiva is primarily responsible for supporting the creation, negotiation, modification, and approval of commercial sales agreements that drive significant impact to Cytiva.

This position will report to the Senior Manager, Contracts and Negotiation and is part of the Commercial Contracts team, and will be

ONSITE

at our facility in

Marlborough, MA .

What You Will Do

Draft, review, edit, and negotiate commercial customer agreements, such as (but not limited to): sales contracts, amendments, reseller agreements, pricing agreements, contract renewals, and customer requests for proposal, etc.

Interpret internal or external business issues and recommend innovative solutions and best practices; assess and lead initiatives to improve contracting processes and tools

Train and advise commercial teams on agreement structure, templates, risks, and alternatives; provide training, mentorship, and 2nd‑tier support to other contracts team members

Ensure compliance to the contracts approval policy and other company policies; solicit buy‑in from cross‑functional stakeholders

Work independently, with guidance in only the most complex situations

Who You Are

Possess a law degree (Juris Doctorate or equivalent)

2 + years’ experience with commercial contract review, redlining, and drafting, including local, regional, and global agreements

2 + years’ experience with contract negotiations and external client engagement

Demonstrable experience (i) using sophisticated analytical thought to exercise judgement and identify innovative contract solutions, and (ii) prioritizing competing demands from multiple sources in a fast‑paced environment

Possess advanced writing and communication skills with a meticulous attention to detail; English language fluency

Other Qualifications

The healthcare, pharmaceutical, and/or life sciences industry

The use of Salesforce.com (SFDC) and/or an SFDC‑based contract lifecycle management system

The annual salary range for this role is $105,000.00–$120,000.00. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.

We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.
