Travel Job Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN with high-risk Labor & Delivery experience and prior travel experience for a night shift position requiring a NJ or compact RN license.
Responsibilities Position is in the Labor & Delivery unit of a large hospital Patient population includes high-risk pregnancies Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, three shifts per week Assignment duration is 13 weeks EPIC is used for charting Travelers may float to a nearby sister hospital if needed Duties include comprehensive assessments, direct patient care, documentation, patient education, and use of emergency equipment Must deliver safe, competent, and individualized nursing care for high-risk labor and delivery cases Responsible for following National Patient Safety Goals and Universal Protocols Maintain professionalism, patient confidentiality, and positive communication with patients and families Holiday coverage may be required depending on unit needs Scrub or dress code requirements will follow hospital standards
