Responsibilities Position Details:
Cardiovascular Surgeon
Will be employed under Shasta Regional Medical Group, a hospital-owned multi‑specialty medical group.
Work Schedule: 3 Weeks ON 1 Week OFF; must be available during ON weeks to attend the hospital.
Call Schedule: 3 Weeks ON 1 WEEK OFF.
Procedures: Cardiothoracic surgery, TAVR, Da Vinci, CABG, AVR, MVR & Triple AAA.
A sign‑on bonus and relocation allowance will be provided.
Shasta Regional Medical Center offers the following cardiac services:
WATCHMAN procedure for atrial fibrillation not caused by a heart valve problem.
CardioMEMS System heart failure monitoring device.
Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgery Program:
Coronary artery bypass grafting.
Valve repair and replacement.
Aorta repair.
Thoracic procedures.
Vascular procedures.
Off‑pump (OPCAB) bypass surgery.
Pay Transparency Shasta Regional Medical Center offers competitive compensation. The current compensation range is $462,460 – $649,347. The exact starting compensation will be determined at the time of selection, considering skillset, experience, education, credentials, and licensure.
