About The Role
As a CBRE Mobil Engineer, you will maintain customer service centers in an industrial environment. You will support preventative maintenance on ice machines, walk‑in coolers, doc drawers, and HVAC equipment. What You’ll Do
Perform day‑to‑day repairs, emergency and preventive maintenance; record required maintenance and repairs. Review assigned work orders; estimate time and materials; order necessary materials and supplies; use CMMS to manage work orders and track completion. Lead troubleshooting and repairs of buildings and installed systems, including plumbing, kitchen equipment, roofs, drains, shop, and HVAC/R. Inspect new installations for compliance with building codes and safety laws. Inspect building systems (fire alarms, HVAC/R, plumbing) to ensure operation within design capabilities. Oversee and inspect the work performed by outside contractors. Maintain building lighting system, including element and ballast repairs or replacements. Perform grounds maintenance tasks such as raking, sweeping, and leaf blowing or snow removal. Perform furniture assembly, locksmith, welding, and carpentry tasks as needed. Respond quickly to emergency situations; summon additional assistance as needed. Report and communicate daily work activity via PDA device. What You’ll Need
High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 4–5 years of job‑related experience; in lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered. Universal CFC certification and valid driver’s license required. Prior shift manager or supervisory experience preferred. Meet the physical requirements of this role, including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more. Ability to exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information. Willingness to take a new perspective on existing solutions. In‑depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook). Organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset. Benefits
