Candidate will support assigned service calls for 5‑6 retail stores within a geographical area. Will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventative maintenance on commercial RTUs and split systems as well as general maintenance related to electrical, plumbing, carpentry, drywall, flooring, roofing, etc. Company vehicle, gas card, tools, iPad, and iPhone will be provided.

What You'll Do

Perform assigned day‑to‑day repairs, emergency and preventive maintenance. Complete maintenance and repairs, record as required.

Review assigned work orders, estimate time and materials needed, order necessary materials and supplies to finish tasks, use CMMS to manage work orders and track completion.

Lead troubleshooting and repairs of buildings and installed systems to include HVAC, plumbing systems, roofs, drains.

Inspect new installation for compliance with building codes and safety laws.

Inspect building systems including fire alarms, HVAC/R, and plumbing to ensure operation of equipment is within design capabilities and achieves environmental conditions prescribed by client.

Oversee and inspect the work performed by outside contractors.

Maintain the building lighting system, including element and ballast repairs or replacements.

Perform furniture assembly and locksmith tasks as needed.

Respond quickly to emergency situations, summoning additional assistance as needed.

Report and communicate daily all work activity via PDA device.

What You'll Need

High school diploma or GED and a minimum of 2 years of related experience and/or trade school training.

Valid driver's license with a good driving record and periodic checks.

Necessary skills to functionally operate a full‑size van/truck.

Universal CFC or EPA certification preferred.

Excellent social skills, including oral and written communication.

Ability to use computer and/or PDA for work order system, email, and training.

Must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Mobile Engineer position is $56,160 annually [or $27.00 per hour] and the maximum salary for the Mobile Service Engineer position is $68,640 annually [or $33.00 per hour]. The compensation offered to a successful candidate will depend on their skills, qualifications, and experience. This role will provide the following benefits: 401(k), Dental insurance, Health insurance, Life insurance, and Vision insurance.
