Responsibilities Join a hospital committed to delivering top-tier cardiovascular care to a growing and diverse community. Desert Valley Medical Center is a proud member of Prime Healthcare and serves as a trusted hub for quality care in the High Desert region.
Position Highlights:
7 to 10 days per month, including 10 to 12 STEMI call days
Inpatient consults, echocardiograms, and interventional procedures
Work in a well-established, state-of-the-art cardiac program
Support from experienced hospitalists and nursing staff
Coverage needed for both weekday and weekend shifts (flexible scheduling)
Compensation:
Daily rate: $2,000 - $3,500, depending on scope and volume of services rendered
Qualifications
Board Certified/Eligible in Interventional Cardiology
Active California medical license or eligibility to obtain
Proficiency in managing acute cardiac cases, including primary PCI
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Pay Transparency Desert Valley Hospital offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package that provides employees the flexibility to tailor benefits according to their individual needs. A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $2,000-3,500. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials, and licensure.
