Posting Summary Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a Salesforce Developer for the Office of Information Technology. Under the direction of a Project Manager/Associate Director for Enterprise Application Services (EAS), provides analytical and programming support for Enrollment Management office and other university administrative and academic offices. This position serves as one of the platform developers for the enterprise Salesforce.com environment.

Among the key duties of this position are the following:

Develops solutions within the Salesforce or CRM platform or software that integrates with Salesforce to meet stakeholder requirements for existing and new functionality.

Works with project managers, business analysts and other developers to design, develop, test and deploy solutions including dashboards, interfaces, and integrations.

Assists with necessary system upgrades in all Salesforce environments as well as testing all impacted areas and workflows.

Works with our institutional management team to establish suitable processes to support administrative, development, and change management activities.

Assists in training of new users, and grow the Salesforce.com skill set across the organization.

Works with members of the user community to define and document development requirements.

Assists with the evaluation, scope and completion of new development requests.

Understands and adheres to Rutgers' compliance standards as they appear in RBHS's Corporate Compliance Policy, Code of Conduct and Conflict of Interest Policy.

Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications Minimum Education and Experience: Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field and a minimum of 2 years relevant system development experience.

Ability to build custom apps and objects, formula fields, workflows, custom views, and other content of intermediate complexity.

Programming experience with SQL, SFDC toolkit, VisualForce, and Apex.

Knowledge of REST/SOAP APIs.

Ability to assess the impact of new requirements on all upstream and downstream applications, systems and processes.

Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, handle and prioritize simultaneous requests, and manage laterally and upwards.

Ability to work with changing priorities and with multiple projects.

CSS, Java, JavaScript, DHTML, HTML, XML, AJAX, jQuery.

Experience with Agile development framework.

Salesforce certification as Platform Developer 1.

Compensation Salary range: minimum $92,722, mid $111,839, maximum $133,206. A maximum of $131,108 is budgeted for this position.
