Job Summary
There are opportunities for academic medical oncologists with a subspecialty focus in GI or GU malignancies to lead these sections within the Division of Hematology & Oncology at the George Washington University Medical Faculty Associates, an independent non‑profit clinical practice group affiliated with GWU. The Division of Hematology/Oncology is a key component of the Oncology Service line within the GW Cancer Center (GWCC). GWCC brings together the resources of the University, GW Medical Faculty Associates, and GW University Hospital to expand treatment and research and to position our institution as the premier cancer care provider in the Washington, D.C. area.
The non‑tenure‑track appointments will be made at the rank of associate or full Professor with salary commensurate with experience.

Duties and Responsibilities
These clinical leadership positions involve robust support for program building, leading clinical research efforts, and teaching students, house staff, and fellows. The role includes a mix of outpatient care and staffing of an inpatient service.
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum four years of progressive experience in the respective subspecialty
- Board certification in medical oncology at the time of appointment
- Eligibility for licensure in the District of Columbia
- Experience in clinical investigations and medical education
