As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. - Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism at all times.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the manufacturing and industrial location, including the business interior and perimeter areas.
- Monitor for unusual activity and report any security-related concerns or incidents to the appropriate personnel.
- Assist with access control by observing entry and exit points and verifying credentials as required by site procedures.
- Support Allied Universal management and site leadership in upholding security-related standards and expectations.
- Document observations, incidents, and activities in daily reports as required by site protocols.
- Collaborate with team members and site staff to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.
- At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
