- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the manufacturing and industrial location and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential risks.
- Observe and report any suspicious activity or security-related incidents to Allied Universal management and site supervisors.
- Maintain a visible presence on the premises to help to deter potential threats and provide assistance to employees and visitors as needed.
- Follow all site-specific instructions and protocols as directed by Allied Universal and client leadership.
- Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying credentials as required.
- Support emergency preparedness and response efforts by participating in drills and following established procedures during actual events.
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
