As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring entrances, verifying credentials, and conducting routine patrols. - Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies while performing access control duties at the location.
- Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access and/or breaches.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter suspicious activity and/or unauthorized presence.
- Assist with emergency response activities as directed, maintaining communication with Allied Universal management and site representatives.
- Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, or irregularities according to Allied Universal and client protocols.
- Interact professionally with employees, visitors, and contractors, providing assistance as needed while maintaining security-related standards.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
