In this role, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care, assisting with intake procedures, and supporting medical staff in a correctional facility setting. You will need to be comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while ensuring the health and safety of the individuals under your care.
Responsibilities
Perform routine medical tasks, including blood draws and specimen collection.
Assist with patient intake and documentation, including vital signs, medical histories, and other assessments.
Provide patient education as needed.
Prepare and maintain medical equipment and supplies.
Support the healthcare team with various medical procedures and administrative duties as needed.
Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA guidelines.
Work collaboratively with the medical and correctional staff to ensure the smooth operation of the facility's healthcare services.
Shift Times Monday - Friday 7a-3p
Availability Must be available at least 2 weekends a month
