Job Description As a Senior Manager, Analytics & Insights for Core Operations you will manage a team of Business Insights & Analytics specialists and work closely with various internal stakeholders/partners to understand business objectives, identify data/information needs, opportunities for improvement and help inform and support business decisions and strategies.
Depth & Scope
Provides people management leadership by hiring the best talent, setting goals, developing staff, managing employee performance and compensation decisions, promoting teamwork and handling disciplinary actions.
Oversees and leads a large and/or highly complex reporting function for an area of significant risk, complexity or scope.
Strategic partner to the leadership team on portfolio and financial management, using deep industry, internal, and external enterprise knowledge to recognize and anticipate emerging trends and identify operational efficiencies.
Facilitates key strategic discussions and provides thought leadership to an executive audience (output may include strategic roadmap, and/or deliverables/frameworks/short- to long-term goals).
Sets operational team direction and collaborates with others to execute on common goals.
Focuses on longer-range planning for the functional area (e.g., 12 months or greater).
Education & Experience
Undergraduate degree or advanced technical degree preferred (e.g., math, physics, engineering, finance or computer science). Graduate’s degree preferred with progressive project work experience.
7+ years of relevant experience; higher degree education and research tenure can be counted.
Strong programming experience in Python for data analysis, automation, and insights generation.
Proficiency with the Microsoft Power Platform, including BI, Power Automate, and insights generation.
Advanced SQL skills for querying, manipulating, and analyzing large datasets.
Exceptional executive-level communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.
Advanced PowerPoint skills, including executive-ready storytelling, data visualization, and presentation design.
Customer Accountabilities
Manages a team of Business Insights & Analytics professionals/specialists.
Ensures team collaboration with partners on business problems/issues and provides fact-based analytical advice aligned to strategy and shareholder value.
Manages escalated client issues or priorities and resolves or minimizes business problems/issues.
