Overview An established healthcare facility in Fort Mill, SC, is seeking a Director of Inpatient Services to lead and oversee clinical operations across multiple units, including MedSurg, PCU, and ICU. This position plays a critical leadership role in supporting senior nursing executives and ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality patient care. The Director will take on 24/7 operational responsibility for assigned units.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the Chief Nursing Officer in managing nursing operations and patient care services
Lead clinical teams and ensure adherence to quality and safety standards
Manage staffing, resource allocation, and departmental performance
Foster a culture of accountability, excellence, and collaboration
Plan and implement nursing policies and procedures across multiple inpatient units
Qualifications:
Active RN license in the state of practice
Bachelor's degree in Nursing required
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) required
At least 2 years of leadership experience (Manager or Director level) in a hospital setting
Strong background in Medical-Surgical nursing
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association
