Q3 Contracting (Q3C) , a division of Primoris Services Corporation, is a publicly owned and operated construction contracting company that provides both specific and turnkey services for its customers in the gas, oil, electric and telecommunications industry. We are headquartered in Minnesota, with branch offices in Colorado, Wisconsin, Iowa, Nebraska, North Dakota, and South Dakota.
We are actively hiring a Project Coordinator for our Design team who will be the primary point of contact for our land development and utility customers to coordinate new projects. This position will be responsible for providing customers with excellent service and facilitating their gas and electric needs for all projects from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze incoming work to determine risk, assign a priority level and designer
Create and track all projects through various reports
Responsible for ensuring all projects are delivered on time
Respond promptly to customers and potential customer needs
Generate schedules to ensure projects stay on track
Attend scheduled meetings
Identify problem jobs and guide project through to completion
Assist leads with quality control
Monitor performance and competencies and report findings to supervisor
Analyze process through historical data to recommend improvements
Serve as point of contact for high‑risk jobs
Actively communicate with customers, vendors, and supervisors on all aspects of individual jobs
Provide cost‑effective estimates to your customers using standardized documents
Job Requirements
Associate’s Degree or 2 years of relevant industry experience
Ability to read, interpret and prepare documents and reports
Working knowledge of project controls and scheduling
Demonstrated ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously
Ability to communicate report findings and lead a productive discussion
Strong analytical and organizational skills
Ability to deal with frequent changes, delays or unexpected events
Must be available to work hours as necessary as dictated by work volumes
Must be willing and able to travel as required to complete the job
Q3 Contracting is a drug‑free environment, and all candidates are subject to drug testing.
Compensation and Benefits
$30 – $32 per hour, depending on experience
