Finance & Operations Position Summary The Vice President of Finance is a key member of the executive leadership team responsible for leading all aspects of
financial strategy, accounting, operations, and administration
across the organization. This role oversees core finance and accounting functions, HR and recruiting, risk and compliance, and corporate administration to ensure financial integrity, operational efficiency, and business alignment with CreatorUp’s growth objectives. The ideal candidate is both strategic and hands‑on—a finance leader who thrives in a high‑growth, entrepreneurial environment, can manage cross‑functional complexity, and enjoys building systems and teams that enable scale. Key Responsibilities 1. Accounting & Finance Oversee all accounting operations including GL, AR/AP, revenue recognition, and month‑end close. Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with GAAP. Implement and maintain strong internal controls and policies to safeguard company assets. Drive the evolution of systems to support scalable reporting and automation. 2. Budgeting & Forecasting Lead the annual budgeting process, quarterly forecasts, and rolling financial models. Partner with business and production leads to align resource planning and project profitability. Provide financial insight and decision support to guide pricing, margin management, and investment decisions. Present key financial metrics, dashboards, and performance analyses to leadership and the Board. 3. Cash Management & Risk Manage cash flow, working capital, and liquidity to support business operations and growth initiatives. Oversee treasury functions, including forecasting, banking, and credit management. Identify and mitigate key financial and operational risks; maintain adequate insurance coverage and risk management policies. Support investor reporting, debt management, and capital planning as required. 4. Production Accounting Partner with production leadership to implement job costing, budget tracking, and profitability. Ensure consistent financial controls and reporting across client projects, retainers, and production workflows. Build and manage a scalable production accounting function aligned with creative operations. Oversee HR operations including payroll, benefits, compensation, and performance management. Support leadership in talent planning, organizational design, and recruiting for key roles. Ensure compliance with employment laws across U.S. and international locations (Greece, India, Singapore). Maintain strong culture and engagement through equitable and transparent HR practices. Oversee corporate governance, legal compliance, and annual filings across all entities. Manage external relationships for tax, audit, legal, and insurance programs. Ensure compliance with data privacy, SOC2, and other industry standards. Lead corporate administration processes supporting international subsidiaries and cross‑border transactions. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business; MBA or CPA preferred. 10+ years of progressive finance leadership experience, including experience in media, production, or SaaS environments. Proven ability to manage multi‑entity accounting and international operations. Experience leading cross‑functional teams covering finance, HR, and administration. Strong analytical, strategic, and communication skills with the ability to partner across creative and technical teams. High degree of integrity, ownership, and ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, entrepreneurial environment.
