We’re looking for an experienced Director of Sales to lead East Coast sales efforts, managing a portfolio of key accounts and inspiring a high-performing team of sales managers. In this pivotal role, you’ll be instrumental in shaping our sales strategy, expanding our market presence, and cultivating lasting partnerships within critical industries. Knowledge of the gaming and entertainment industry is a plus.

This is a full-time, hybrid position based in New York, NY and requires working from our office 3 days each week. Due to the nature of this role, there is an expectation to be comfortable working outside of a standard schedule from time to time for client needs and events. Travel is required on an as-needed basis to meet with clients, attend events, and collaborate with your team. This position involves work with a computer, requiring extended periods of sitting or standing, and regular use of hands and vision. Occasional travel is required, which could include lifting and carrying materials, and navigating airports, hotels, and other venues.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and Mentor: Directly manage, motivate, and develop a team of talented sales managers, fostering a collaborative and results-driven environment. Provide ongoing coaching, performance feedback, and professional development opportunities.

Drive Revenue Growth: Achieve and exceed aggressive sales targets by actively managing and growing a portfolio of key consumer accounts across the East Coast (New York, Boston, Atlanta, Philadelphia, etc). Identify and pursue new business opportunities, expanding our client base within target categories.

Strategic Account Management: Develop and execute comprehensive account strategies for top-tier clients across the following sectors: Technology, Automotive, Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG), Telecommunications, Quick Service Restaurants (QSRs), Retail, Pharma.

Relationship Building: Cultivate and nurture strong, lasting relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders at client organizations and agencies. Actively seek out and develop new relationships to expand our network.

Sales Strategy & Execution: Contribute to and execute the overall sales strategy for the consumer vertical, identifying market trends, competitive landscapes, and opportunities for innovation.

Market Expertise: Become a subject matter expert in our digital media offerings and the specific needs of clients within your assigned categories.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams including marketing, product, and operations to ensure seamless campaign execution and client satisfaction.

Reporting & Forecasting: Provide accurate sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and market insights to senior leadership.

Travel: Travel as needed to meet with clients, entertain and support sellers with client outings, attend industry events, and collaborate with your team.

Job Qualifications

Minimum of 6+ years of experience in digital media sales, with at least 4 years in a leadership or management role.

Deep understanding of the digital media landscape, including display, video, branded content, social first, commerce, programmatic and emerging ad technologies.

Demonstrated history of consistently exceeding sales quotas and driving significant revenue growth in previous roles.

Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies aligned with business objectives.

Outstanding verbal and written communication skills; ability to articulate complex solutions clearly and persuasively.

Expert in building rapport and establishing trust with clients and colleagues; strong network.

Proactive, self-motivated, with a strong sense of urgency; thrive in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.

Experience working with clients in Technology, Automotive, CPG, Alcohol, Telecommunications, Government & Federal Agencies, QSRs, or Retail sectors is a plus; knowledge of gaming and entertainment industry is a plus.

Travel Requirements Occasional travel is required, including client meetings, industry events, and collaboration with internal teams. Travel may include lifting and carrying materials and navigating airports and hotels.

Compensation Base salary range: $240,000 – $260,000 annually. Total compensation will consider experience, scope of role, capabilities and company performance.
