Liberation Programs is dedicated to providing prevention, treatment, and recovery services to individuals and families affected by substance use and mental health conditions. Founded in 1971 with its first location, Liberation House in Stamford, the organization has grown to be a leading behavioral health institution in the area. Serving over 1,000 individuals daily across Greenwich, Stamford, Norwalk, and Bridgeport, Liberation Programs offers a range of services, including outpatient treatment, residential care, programs for older adults, HIV/AIDS support, permanent supportive housing, and community‑based education and prevention initiatives.

Role Description This is a full‑time hybrid position for the Director of Quality, primarily based in Bridgeport, CT, with an option for some remote work. The role entails leading and overseeing quality management initiatives and ensuring compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards. Key responsibilities include implementing quality assurance systems, conducting audits, analyzing data to improve service outcomes, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement across the organization. The Director of Quality will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure that all services adhere to high standards of care and quality. Quality Director also leads and supervises the Quality team.

Qualifications

In-depth knowledge and leadership experience related to CT DMHAS standards of care, CT DPH and SAMHSA regulations, and CARF accreditation process, as well as the DDaP data management and upload protocols.

Expertise in quality improvement analyses and initiatives with a health equity lens, and CT DMHAS Provider reporting requirements.

Expertise in all Microsoft platforms (Teams, Excel, Word, Powerpoint, etc).

Expertise in EHR Management.

Must have strong oral and written communications skills, analytical skills, and the interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively at all levels of the organization and with all stakeholders.

Exceptional organizational and time‑management skills.

Strong knowledge of Medication Assisted Treatment and behavioral health.
