Job Description:
Client is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Business Analyst to support the Distribution M&A team. The role is responsible for analyzing complex datasets, supporting key operational processes, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate can manage multiple projects simultaneously, investigate and resolve issues independently, and play a critical role in supporting the account matching and mapping process. The candidate’s work will drive informed, data‑driven decision‑making and help optimize processes across the organization.
Responsibilities
Support the account matching and mapping process ensuring accuracy and consistency
Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to track key metrics and support business decision‑making.
Analyze complex datasets from various sources (including Salesforce, Tableau, and Snowflake) to identify trends and anomalies
Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their data needs and provide analytical support
Present findings, insights, and recommendations clearly and concisely to stakeholders
Identify opportunities to streamline operational processes and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
Investigate and resolve issues in a timely manner
Ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively to both technical and non‑technical audiences
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
4+ years of experience as a business analyst, with a strong focus on analytics.
Must be proficient with
Strong data analysis in Google Sheets/Excel
Writing and executing SQL queries for data extraction
Salesforce (CRM) – Account, Opportunity, Reports and related fields
General Business Processes (Sales, Marketing, Service, Support)
Fundamental IT concepts (databases, security, networking) and basic programming concepts
Pay range: $60 - $70/hr on W2
The specific compensation for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
