Sr Partner Development Specialist, WW Startup Partners, Startup Partners Center of Excellence Amazon Web Services (AWS) invites you to apply for the Sr Partner Development Specialist role.

Description Would you like to build strategy and establish new go‑to‑market programs that help startup tech partners to grow their business with AWS? As Startup Partner Development Specialist, you will have the opportunity to work with the most innovative startup tech partners on the planet. This role will be a segment leader for the startup partners business, establishing and executing a plan to scale up our partners business with VC‑backed startups. You will own piloting, incubating, and launching new go‑to‑market programs to startup partners, help startups build their business on AWS Marketplace, team with AWS field sales, partner development, and product teams, support startup GTM efforts, speak publicly at conferences and workshops, and report progress on the business to AWS leadership.

Key Responsibilities

Work with multiple sales and technical teams within both AWS and startup partners to define and execute joint technology, marketing, and sales initiatives with partner development teams.

Serve as a key member of the Tech Partner Center of Excellence team in helping to define and deliver the overall go‑to‑market strategy.

Engage partner’s field sales organizations, channels, and end customers to create and drive enablement and opportunities for AWS.

Ensure that there is a strategic business plan for target markets and products, aligned with AWS and partner strategic direction.

Create and execute the team's business plan with key internal stakeholders (e.g., service teams, marketing, PR, legal, support, etc.).

Ensure that AWS sales field and partner business managers work closely with each partner’s customer base to maximize success using our web services.

Understand the technical requirements of startup partners and work closely with internal AWS development teams to guide the direction of our product offerings.

Prepare and give business reviews to the senior management team.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree

Experience in a professional field or military

Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level

Experience managing programs across cross‑functional teams, building processes, and coordinating release schedules

5+ years of developing, negotiating, and executing business agreements experience

Preferred Qualifications

Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations

Experience identifying, negotiating, and executing complex legal agreements

3+ years at a tech startup or managing GTM activities with a tech startup

Strong understanding of how startups can derive value from AWS as a GTM Partner
