AWS EC2 owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS server instances. We’re the people who keep the cloud running, supporting all AWS compute, storage, and accelerator servers to ensure customers have continual access to the innovation they rely on. We work on challenging problems with thousands of variables impacting the supply chain and are looking for talented people who want to help. You’ll join a diverse team of hardware engineers, software engineers, system engineers, technical program managers, and other vital roles. You’ll collaborate with teams across AWS to deliver the highest standards for safety and security while providing substantial capacity at the lowest possible cost. Drive a team to deliver best-in-class performance of novel hardware designs from inception through manufacturing, implementation, maturation, and deprecation. Ensure core system components, including CPU and memory, meet or exceed high performance standards and maintain healthy performance across the EC2 fleet. Organize a team of hardware and system development engineers to partner with silicon providers, ODMs, and internal customers to maintain a high-performing system component roadmap. Define implementation strategy and report status frequently to senior leadership. Enable AWS to launch next-generation server designs. About The Team

10+ years of engineering experience 5+ years of engineering team management experience 10+ years of planning, designing, developing and delivering cloud hardware with primary focus on CPU and memory Experience partnering with product or program management teams Experience managing multiple concurrent programs, projects and development teams in an Agile environment Preferred Qualifications
Experience partnering with silicon providers and ODMs Experience designing and developing large-scale, high-performing applications Additional Information
