Job Overview The Director, Commercial Operations – Digital Pathology Software is responsible for planning and leading the execution of all commercial activities between LBS Digital Pathology and a key strategic partner. This role is critical in ensuring seamless collaboration, operational readiness, strategic alignment, and commercial execution across both organizations. This position reports to the Vice President, Global Sales Pathology Imaging and is part of the Global Digital Pathology Commercial team. The role is fully remote.

In This Role, You Will Have The Opportunity To

Lead and execute global commercial initiatives for Computational Pathology, including project management and associated action plans.

Manage strategic partnerships by facilitating all commercial interactions, hosting joint funnel reviews, and serving as the primary escalation point.

Collaborate with Digital Pathology Business Unit to develop and align marketing content and enablement tools for commercial teams.

Drive go‑to‑market programs and sales enablement, ensuring training readiness and supporting high‑growth market associates with partner portfolio strategies.

Ensure operational readiness across systems (SAP, SFDC, CPQ), maintain accurate partnership reporting, including bowler metrics, and align with enablement and training teams to deliver efficient content, tools, and readiness assessments for implementation of Image Management Systems.

The Essential Requirements Of The Job Include

Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience; MBA preferred.

Minimum of 10 years of demonstrated success in selling medical equipment or consumable products to the hospital or research marketplace, preferably in the pathology laboratory.

Leadership experience driving functional projects and programs with external partners across multi‑site, complex organizations, with exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple projects and priorities in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment.

Ability to work alongside senior stakeholders to effectively influence and gain alignment across internal and external teams.

Proven track record of personally closing high‑value deals in a technical or consultative sales environment, preferably in healthcare, diagnostics, or life sciences.

Ability to lead with Continuous Improvement tools to enhance process and increase efficiency.

Travel & Physical Requirements

Ability to travel up to 30% of the time, including overnight stays.

Preferred Qualifications

Reporting performance metrics and analytics.

Experience with deploying Danaher Business System (DBS) tools and embedding continuous improvement culture across global teams.

Communicating complex business issues while simplifying strategy into specific actions to ensure clear accountability.

Compensation The annual salary range for this role is $160,000 - $210,000. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
