Director of Supply Chain Job Summary The Director of Supply Chain will lead strategic initiatives to optimize procurement, inventory management, and vendor relationships, ensuring cost efficiency and operational excellence across all Physician Partners of America facilities. The Director reports to the Chief Financial Officer.

Responsibilities

Develop strong professional relationships with personnel at physician offices, ASCs, the Corporate Office and throughout the organization.

Collaborate with ASC administrators, physicians, operations and clinic managers, and corporate financial teams to meet company expense goals.

Identify and secure best price, quality, availability and reliability when purchasing products.

Work directly with Microsoft AX to minimize overall cost for quality and meet the needs of our medical clinics, ASCs and medical service locations.

Develop the contract management instructions and procedures for acquiring the company’s supplies, equipment and services in a timely manner with favorable terms.

Maintain detailed records of supplier and price information.

Implement sustainable sourcing practices aligned with organizational values.

Work with operations leadership on inventory control.

Develop new supply sources where resources are inadequate.

Develop contingency plans to address supply chain disruptions to ensure continuity of care.

Ensure materials meet the minimum requirements for quality assurance standards.

Develop policies and procedures in the areas of procurement, inventory control, receiving, storage and distribution of supplies.

Coordinate the maintenance of supplies in medical facilities for emergency situations.

Establish key performance indicators to monitor cost savings, inventory turnover and supplier performance.

Follow environmental and safety regulations and act in compliance with U.S. laws.

Comply with safety and corporate guidelines on business ethics.

Qualifications

5 years or more of healthcare supply chain experience.

Bachelor’s in supply chain management preferred.

Proficient in Microsoft AX, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

Excellent organizational skills for efficient office control mandatory.

Must be self‑organized and self‑directed.

Excellent decision‑making skills.

Knowledge in using Envi and Metaviewer are a plus.

Strong communication skills with people at all levels of the organization and externally.

Working Conditions Our corporate office is located in Tampa, FL. The job schedule will be Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Travel to clinics and surgery centers in other parts of Florida, Texas and California is not uncommon. Remote work flexibility is available.
