University Center is a unique 1700+ bed multi-use student housing complex located in the heart of downtown with academic year residents from 5 master leased universities along with individual leasing, a full-service on-site dining center and market, as well as retail tenants. During the summer, the building transforms into a short-term stay and hoteling facility for interns, groups, corporate clients, and more. We are seeking a detail-oriented Leasing and Operations Manager with experience in student housing and leasing/marketing leadership. Who You Are

Success in sales, finance, or management in housing, hospitality, or retail Strong customer service skills with diverse clientele Experience in online/social media advertising and on-site marketing Proficiency in creating promotional materials Skilled in property management software Self-motivated, organized, and capable of leading projects Adaptable in fast-paced environments What You'll Do

Leasing & Marketing Management

Manage leasing for 100–200 beds annually, including marketing and university collaboration Supervise and support leasing and marketing associates Maintain social media, web presence, and online reputation Conduct tours for prospective residents and clients Develop and execute annual leasing and marketing plans Coordinate building-wide marketing strategies Support departmental marketing needs including advertising and outreach Prepare and manage lease paperwork and annual updates Financial Management

Manage collections, notices, evictions, and bad debt follow-up Complete month-end accounting, and support audits, budget planning, and accounts payable Assist departments with budget tracking and spending Create and manage client invoices Track leasing concessions and marketing spending Post and audit resident charges/payments Maximize NOI through cost control and revenue strategies Operations & Administration

Manage 3rd party insurance policies for applicable residents and retail tenants Prepare, audit, and report various leasing, operational, and financial data Complete various Peak reporting requirements (lease audits, risk analysis, etc.) Support resident, team, and investor goals Collaborate with Housing Team to optimize occupancy Assist with move-in/out and other property wide events Drive NOI growth through cost control and revenue strategies Perform administrative tasks and additional duties What You'll Need

Regular onsite presence is an essential function of this position and working full-time in office is required. Bachelor’s degree or high school diploma with relevant experience Minimum two years in sales, leasing, property management, finance, or other applicable experience Excellent verbal and written communication skills High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office programs Exceptional customer service and professionalism Willingness to obtain Illinois Leasing license within 120 days Physical Requirements

The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc. Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery (i.e., phone, copy machine, etc.) The person in this position frequently communicates with students and parents. Must be able to exchange accurate information. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear and must be able to exchange accurate information with team members, residents, and more. What You’ll Get
