Our Seattle office seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer to support federal, ports, healthcare, education, and infrastructure projects. Employment Details

Employment Type: Full-time Hybrid Schedule: 3 days In-office / 2 Remote Salary: $150,000 – $215,000, dependent on experience Location: Seattle, WA Level: Senior Qualifications

Degree: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electrical Engineering Registered Professional Engineer License is required Minimum 10 years’ experience in federal, ports, healthcare, education, or infrastructure project design Demonstrated leadership in electrical design projects Experience performing QAQC and mentoring emerging professionals Prepared fee proposals and qualification packages for project pursuits Project management skills: work breakdown structure, budget tracking, schedule, client interface, relationship building Proficiency with NEC, AutoCAD, ETAP/SKM, and Revit Experience with design-build, GCCM, and design-bid-build delivery methods Non‑Technical Qualifications

Mentoring emerging professionals and guiding through technical challenges Process improvement and team performance elevation Openness to constructive feedback and collaboration Prioritization of team goals over personal recognition Self-motivated, inquisitive, detail-oriented, solving problems in fast-paced environments Strong organizational skills and reliable responsiveness Interest in leadership roles by owning projects, mentoring, and supporting strategic initiatives Working Knowledge

National Electrical Code – required Washington State Codes – preferred Unified Facilities Criteria – preferred FGI Guidelines – preferred ETAP/SKM – preferred Microsoft Office Suite Revit a plus AutoCAD a plus Duties

Pre‑Design Engineering

Perform field surveys and prepare site assessment reports Prepare electrical schematic designs Design Engineering

Design power single line and riser diagrams Perform electrical calculations (arc flash, coordination, short circuit, voltage drop, load flow) using ETAP/SKM Design low‑voltage and medium‑voltage infrastructure Design equipment replacement projects (substations, switchboards, transformers, panelboards) Utilize CAD/BIM standards and maintain code compliance (National Electrical Code, Washington Codes, Energy Standards) Perform QAQC for electrical design Coordinate with mechanical, plumbing, telecom, civil, structural, and architectural disciplines Project Management

Lead projects with a client‑first mindset, delivering high‑quality deliverables Oversee MEP design for medium to large projects, fostering collaboration Mentor junior engineers and project managers with constructive feedback Support proposal preparation for medium to large projects Maintain documentation and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle Construction Administration

Respond to RFIs and maintain high client satisfaction during construction Review submittals for engineering intent and code compliance Collaborate with contractors and field teams, ensuring solution orientation Participate in punch walks and prepare punch list reports Serve as technical advocate for the client, proactively addressing challenges Benefits
