Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Night Shift 7pm-7:30am
This full-time opportunity at Cedar Hill Regional Medical Center offers 36 hours per week, full benefits, and a day shift schedule providing care in our
ICU, NICU, and Peds ER departments . There is an opportunity for overtime and to cover various shifts if interested.
About Cedar Hill Regional Medical Center Cedar Hill Regional Medical Center opened its doors this April as the first new full-service hospital in Washington, DC in more than 25 years. It integrates clinical care with existing community providers and partners to establish a robust network of care for District residents, with a focus on serving residents of Wards 7 and 8. The hospital will offer 136 beds (with the ability to expand to 184 beds), a verified trauma center, adult and pediatric emergency departments, maternal health and newborn delivery, an ambulatory pavilion for clinic visits and other outpatient services, onsite 550-car parking, and a helipad for emergency transport.

Qualifications Requirements
Graduation from an approved two-year respiratory therapist program
Licensed by the District of Columbia Health Regulation
Licensed as a RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) and certified by NBRC
BLS, PALS, and ACLS required (or in process of obtaining)
A minimum of 1-year full-time experience as a Certified Respiratory Therapist in an acute care setting
Experience working with ICU, Peds ER, and NICU
Skills
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
Effective interpersonal skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Ability to adapt to multiple and changing priorities
Basic computer skills and customer service skills required
Must be able to identify and competently address the needs of the population served
