Job Overview Akkodis is seeking a
Frontend Developer
for a
Contract
with a client in
Sunnyvale, CA (Hybrid) . You will design and deliver scalable, high-performance user interfaces while ensuring seamless integration with backend services.
Proficiency in React and JavaScript
is essential to succeed in this role.
Rate Range:
$58/hour to $60/hour; the rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Frontend Developer Job Responsibilities
Develop and maintain responsive, user-friendly web interfaces using React and JavaScript.
Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate APIs and ensure seamless data flow.
Optimize application performance for speed, scalability, and cross-browser compatibility.
Implement best practices for UI/UX design and accessibility standards.
Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code following industry standards.
Troubleshoot and debug issues across multiple browsers and devices.
Stay updated with emerging frontend technologies and frameworks.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.
Minimum 6 years of JavaScript development and 6 years of React experience; 5 years of API development experience.
Strong proficiency in React and JavaScript with exposure to backend systems and cloud-native infrastructure.
Familiarity with GraphQL concepts and automation tooling (Terraform, Kubernetes); Python experience preferred.

Pay Details:
$58.00 to $60.00 per hour
