Akkodis is seeking a Business Analyst for a contract with a client in Sunnyvale, CA. Candidates must have strong analytical skills, experience with SDLC, and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve user‑reported issues effectively.
Rate Range $56/hour to $58/hour; the rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Business Analyst Job Responsibilities
Work closely with business teams to gather and document requirements and ensure clarity for implementation teams.
Collaborate with development and QA teams, reporting issues through bug tracking systems, email, and meetings.
Troubleshoot user‑reported issues, perform root cause analysis, replicate problems, and drive them to resolution.
Provide timely support to internal system users, including data fixes, error correction, and system knowledge sharing.
Create and execute effective test cases, perform user acceptance testing for releases and urgent patches.
Prepare training materials and release notes and communicate project updates and risks to stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role.
Strong understanding of SDLC and experience creating effective test cases and performing UAT.
Technical proficiency with web technologies (HTML, JavaScript, CSS, XML) and SQL for data analysis and troubleshooting.
Pay Details $56.00 to $58.00 per hour.
