Responsibilities
Analyze business requirements and create and manage the completion of units of work.
Assigned units of work vary from 100 hour enhancements, up to team member on a large project.
Gathering requirements, functional and detailed analysis/design, testing (unit, integration, system, user acceptance), implementation, documentation, warranty.
Defining architectural solutions to meet application requirements.
Project Status Updates
30-40% - Analysis/Design roughly
30-40% - Development (code, unit test, integration test, system test, UAT, implementation, warranty) roughly
20-40% - Architectural solutions roughly
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experiences serving as the Business System Analyst (BSA) for Information Technology.
Have experience gathering/defining and documenting system requirements for business application system functionalities.
Have experience leading testing activities (e.g., create test plans, test cases, conduct UAT).
Any experience with Supply Chain in Automotive service parts field is desired, but not required.
Required Experience/Skills
RECENT/CURRENT programming experience in COBOL, CICS, JCL, IMS, VSAM, and DB2, able to support all phases of SDLC.
Experience gathering requirements, functional and detailed analysis/design, testing, implementation, and documentation.
Experience working in Microsoft Development technologies, such as .Net core, MVC.Net, C#, and/or Angular is a plus.
Working knowledge of Software Engineering, Software Development, Solutions Architecture and implementation of medium to large scale systems across multiple platforms.
Ability to collaborate with multiple disciplines across the enterprise. Understanding of technology strategy, standards, roadmaps, and practices. Technical aptitude of multi-tier and cross platform architectures across the enterprise.
Experience with Waterfall and Agile methodology.
Desired Skills
Knowledge of Automotive Parts Systems, Warehousing and Supply Chain.
