Requirements
7+ years of experience as an IT Project Manager, with extensive implementation of Supply Chain Management systems and processes.
Experience managing large‑scale end‑to‑end SCM systems (Blue Yonder, SAP, Oracle, etc.) for automotive service parts or other consumer products.
5+ years of project managing IT initiatives, including scope, planning, scheduling, forecasting and budgeting.
Hands‑on experience with forecast/ordering, order fulfillment, inventory receiving, storage, shipping (WMS) and dealer/distributor processes.
Knowledge of mainframe interfaces or integration into mainframe environments.
Experience with both Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
Willingness to conduct business analysis tasks: requirements analysis, design documentation and testing.
Technical aptitude for multi‑tier, cross‑platform architectures across the enterprise.
Strong collaboration and communication skills across multiple disciplines.
Solid understanding of technology strategy, standards, roadmaps and best practices.
Effective presentation skills and the ability to provide project updates to all organizational levels.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or equivalent work experience.
Responsibilities Seasoned Project Manager who has expertise in implementing Supply Chain Management applications and systems, preferably in the automotive/motorcycle service replacement parts, or other commodity products. The role includes implementation of large‑scale end‑to‑end supply chain systems with integration into the mainframe environment.
Lead parts application projects: service parts procurement, order fulfillment, and WMS related initiatives. The initial project involves supplier collaboration on the procurement side, delivering EDI transactions for forecasting, purchase order, and ASN.
Responsible for project planning, execution, and closing: define projects, build comprehensive work plans, and manage budgets.
Drive project progress while ensuring alignment with IT management.
Provide status reporting to IT and business management.
Deliver requirements analysis, design documentation, and testing deliverables.
Note: This role is not for Operations, Warehouse (WMS), or Shipping type managers; it requires experience managing and implementing SCM systems throughout the SDLC.
