Title Senior Director of Capture Excellence

Overview We are a company of innovators, thinkers, creators, explorers, volunteers, and dreamers. KBR is seeking a Senior Director of Capture Excellence for the S&S organization. The role reports to the Vice President of Growth for S&S and oversees the capture team and efforts for S&S federal government pursuits.

Responsibilities

Lead the capture team of managers through the full lifecycle of business development.

Mentor and develop capture managers to ensure they have the requisite skills to operate across the entire business development cycle.

Oversee all capture efforts, provide value in milestone and color team reviews, and enhance solutions.

Assist leaders in developing thorough capture plans and drive the foundation for compelling win strategies, technical and management approaches.

Improve Capture Excellence through process improvement, training, strategic thinking, and a disciplined capture approach.

Manage approximately 11 direct reports.

Qualifications Growth minded individual with a minimum 20 years’ experience managing federal government business development and capture teams of 10 or more people pursuing single award contracts valued greater than $300 million.

Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as Business Administration or a technical degree.

Demonstrated successes reflecting the ability to grow the business.

Strong skill in business writing – both technical and non‑technical.

Familiarity and experience managing the pipeline and utilizing tools such as Salesforce.

Demonstrated ability to work with senior business and government leaders and provide leadership within the workplace.

Experience with competitive analysis and strategic pricing.

Proven interpersonal skills to work with executives and lead teams.

Experience winning large‑scale programs over $300 million in the federal government.

Experience developing account plans and capture plans for new business opportunities.

Proven individual BD and/or Capture experience with demonstrated wins.

Basic Compensation $226,800.00 – $340,100.00

Additional Compensation Potential bonuses, commissions, or other compensation such as sign‑on bonus, relocation benefits, short‑term incentives, long‑term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance, per KBR policy.
