Job Duties
Operate all equipment.
Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, and walk‑in cooler.
Prepare product.
Receive and process telephone orders.
Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
Clean equipment and facilities approximately daily.
Training Orientation and training provided on the job.
Essential Functions / Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator).
Make correct monetary change and handle cash transactions.
Strong verbal, written, and telephone communication skills, including giving correct written instructions and processing orders over the phone.
Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers for precise movements with speed.
Enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Work Conditions Employee may be exposed to varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions when removing trash and performing outdoor tasks. In‑store temperatures range from 36° to 90° F. Work may involve exposure to food odors, cornmeal dust, hot surfaces/tools, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts. Tasks require standing, walking, and occasional climbing.
Physical Demands
Standing most tasks; walking short distances.
Lifting up to 50 pounds for deliveries, carrying heavier items (e.g., pizza sauce, dough trays) with frequent pushes/pulls.
Climbing stairs or ladders for maintenance occasionally.
Additional Information Eligible full‑time employees may deliver product by car to customer doors, flyers, and door hangers, given a valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and access to an insured vehicle.
