Job Duties
Operate all equipment.
Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, and walk‑in cooler.
Prepare product.
Receive and process telephone orders.
Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
Clean equipment and facilities approximately daily.
Training Orientation and on‑the‑job training are provided.
Communication Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions; communicative verbal skills with customers and co‑workers to process orders both over the phone and in person.
Essential Functions / Skills
Perform accurate mental arithmetic (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) and make correct monetary change—calculator may be used.
Excellent verbal, written, and telephone communication skills.
Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to execute precise, rapid movements quickly and accurately.
Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Work Conditions Exposure to varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions when removing trash and performing other outside tasks. In‑store temperatures range from 36° to 90°+ in some work areas, with sudden changes. Exposure to food odors, cornmeal dust, cramped quarters, hot surfaces/tools up to 500° and higher, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts. Requires hearing for telephone conversations, near and mid‑range vision for most in‑store tasks, and depth perception.
Physical Demands
Standing and walking on tile or linoleum surfaces; working from standing positions.
Walking short distances for short durations; occasional short bursts of walking.
Sitting while completing paperwork at a desk or table.
Lifting: Bulk product deliveries (up to 50 lb; up to 3 ft x 1.5 ft) using a hand truck.
Carrying: Items ranging from 3 lb to 30 lb, including pizza sauce and trays of pizza dough (~12 lb).
Pushing: Trays on dollies (24–30 in.) requiring up to a 7.5 lb force; trays may also be pulled.
Climbing, stooping, bending, crouching, and squatting as needed to stock shelves, clean low areas, and assemble pizza.
Reaching above and below 72 in.; forward, upward, and downward reaching to perform tasks such as turning ovens on/off, stacking items, and washing dishes.
Fine motor skills: Forearm and wrist use to shape pizza dough, handle a pizza peel, rolling cutter, and assemble cardboard boxes.
Additional Information Job Duties for Delivery Role:
Deliver product by car to customer door; deliver flyers and door hangers.
Requirements:
Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record, access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
