HighCom Security Services specializes in providing a complete range of protective services with an emphasis on counter‑terrorism methods. Founded in San Francisco in 1997 by former military and law‑enforcement personnel, we bring over 30 years of experience in counter‑terrorism operations and crime prevention to deliver the highest level of security and protective services to our customers.
Responsibilities
Monitor, control, patrol, and secure physical access to protected facilities.
Identify and neutralize potential threats to personnel and property.
Apprehend and detain violators in preparation for police arrival.
Serve as a mediator in conflict resolution.
Lead foot patrol of the client’s property and manage relevant security tasks.
Possess knowledge of CCTV systems and enforce access controls.
Ensure only authorized materials are allowed in and out of the building.
Report irregular conditions and enforce rules and regulations.
Maintain positive relationships with law enforcement and assist with security at special events.
Communicate effectively with team members and facility management.
Conduct investigatory interviews, collect data for investigation reports, and provide summaries to the site manager.
Report all incidents, accidents, or medical emergencies to management.
Respond to emergencies (medical, bomb threats, fire, intrusion) by following established procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Valid California Security Guard Card.
Minimum 2 years of Security Experience.
Exceptional customer service skills.
Ability to work in the United States and travel as required.
Fluent in English (speaking and writing).
High school diploma or higher.
Good physical condition.
Prior law‑enforcement or military experience is a plus.
Commitment to long‑term employment with a reputable company.
Independent and team‑oriented work ethic.
Excellent references.
Ability to interact with diverse groups of people.
Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, Outlook).
Successful candidates may be subject to regular fitness tests and are required to pass written tests and drug screening to satisfy state and in‑house requirements. Only the most qualified candidates will be considered. We offer excellent compensation for experienced Security Officers.
