Our client is a full‑service veterinary hospital seeking an experienced Medical Director to lead their team. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a veterinarian who is ready to take on a leadership role while continuing to provide high‑quality veterinary care. The hospital provides comprehensive services for companion animals and prides itself on advanced medicine with a compassionate, client‑centered approach.
Working Hours / Rota This is a full‑time position. The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm and Saturday from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. The hospital is closed on Sundays.
Role Description And Responsibilities The Medical Director will oversee the delivery of high‑quality, client‑focused veterinary services while leading and mentoring a dedicated team. Responsibilities include promoting preventive care, ensuring compliance with veterinary standards, and guiding associate veterinarians and support staff in both clinical and professional development.
Practice Details This AAHA‑accredited hospital is well equipped with state‑of‑the‑art facilities, including advanced diagnostic tools, surgical suites, and therapeutic technology. Services offered include wellness care, vaccinations, surgery, dentistry and oral surgery, spay and neuter procedures, parasite prevention, senior pet care, laser therapy, acupuncture, herbal remedies, integrative medicine, and care plans tailored to pet health needs.
Candidate Requirements
Must hold relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America.
hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain a state license for the state to work in.
Must have the right to work in the United States or be able to obtain required visa.
Package
Competitive base salary from $135k to $165k + production.
Signing bonus up to $50k.
