As a senior analyst, you will lead data activities for various indirect tax processes, including accounting close cycle, compliance, audit support, and master data validation. You will be responsible for effectively managing assigned tasks, timely communications with stakeholders, and identifying opportunities for data optimization or process improvement. You will support and sustain an evolving indirect tax data and technology landscape with governance to further the optimization of tax processes, tax determinations and tax reporting and enable strategic focus and value capture. You will evaluate process candidates for automation, tool selection, and adhere to standards and best practices in design and documentation. You will develop and maintain user enablement resources, training and developer guides for leveraged technology such as ERP data connectors, Databricks, SQL, Python, Alteryx, Microsoft Power BI and Power Platform, SharePoint & Teams. You will drive collaborative ideation and the development of tax use cases and proof‑of‑concept designs with available technologies, applying your knowledge of tech and data tools and capturing value delivery story and KPI metrics. You will explore new tech and work with appropriate specialists to suggest solutions and improvements. You will lead and participate in projects from initial assessment through design, build, testing, and deployment in close partnership with various tax subfunction team members to deliver on data needs and elevate data capability goals. You will serve as a change agent to champion tax data and technology initiatives, exploring and adopting new technologies, reimagined tax processes, and empowering users.

Qualifications

Progressive experience with multi‑jurisdictional indirect tax responsibilities in a multinational company, 3‑5 years

Experience utilizing finance/accounting system and reporting tools for required data and tax purposes, 3‑5 years

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Exceptional attention to detail and organization

Displays initiative and has the ability to improve processes and document work performed.

Helps identify risks and opportunities and participates cross‑functionally to implement solutions that drive process improvements and strengthen the control environment.

Ability to effectively negotiate and influence decisions of peers and leaders across the finance and business organization.

Ability to use ERP/accounting system and reporting tools to obtain required information for tax purposes.

Proficiency in tax systems, tax databases and tax research tools

Highly collaborative with cross‑functional teams and delivers excellent customer service.

If you are working in CA, CO, IL, LA, ME, MA, NE, ND or RI, you will accrue vacation up to a maximum of 120 hours (190 in CA) for roles below director and 200 hours (316 in CA) for roles at director or above. For roles in other states, you will be granted vacation time starting at 120 hours annually for roles below director and 200 hours annually for roles director and above.
