About the Role We’re seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Part‑Time In‑Store Demo Brand Ambassador to represent Ayurvedist at partner retailers across San Francisco and Marin County. You will be the face of our brand in stores, sampling teas, engaging customers, and helping shoppers discover Ayurvedic wellness in a simple, approachable way.
This role begins as a three‑month contract with a strong opportunity to continue part‑time based on performance and future demo needs.
What You’ll Do
Set up a clean, professional demo station with Ayurvedist materials
Brew and sample teas for customers
Share the Ayurvedist story, our functional blends, and product benefits
Create warm, informed interactions that encourage trial and purchase
Maintain a well‑organized and on‑brand demo presentation
Check product quality on shelf
Bring stock forward from backroom if needed
Ensure displays look clean and well‑maintained
Take photos of demo setup and customer engagement
Track samples distributed and customer interactions
Submit brief demo report after each shift
Track hours for accurate payment
Schedule & Availability
0–2 demos per week (varies by store availability)
Weekday or weekend demos (depending on store high traffic hours)
Each demo typically 2–4 hours
Must be able to travel between stores in SF and Marin
What We’re Looking For Required
Outgoing, friendly, and comfortable approaching customers
Strong communication skills
Reliable transportation to reach stores across SF and Marin (car preferred, but not required)
Ability to stand for the duration of a demo and lift up to ~20 lbs
Organized, dependable, and able to work independently
Preferred
Experience in demos, brand ambassadorship, retail, hospitality, or customer service
Interest in wellness, Ayurveda, herbal tea, or natural products
Ability to create genuine, engaging interactions
Compensation $24–28 per hour, depending on experience.
