Role Overview As a Construction Manager, you will support the delivery of environmental remediation construction projects, overseeing onsite support personnel and subcontractors, and ensuring projects are completed within scope, schedule, and budget.
Responsibilities
Oversee day‑to‑day operations of onsite support personnel and subcontractors.
Manage project budgets, scheduling, and coordination of work.
Report on project status and lead on‑site meetings with staff, subcontractors, and the client.
Serve as the primary point of contact for the client.
Ensure project delivery within contracted scope, schedule, and budget.
Qualifications
40‑hour Hazwoper training and current 8‑hour refresher certification.
Bachelor’s degree in construction management, civil engineering, environmental engineering, or related field.
Construction management experience on site remediation and large civil works projects.
Civil / hazardous site remediation project experience.
Ability to work onsite full time in Brooklyn, NY.
Proficiency in preparing reports using Word, Excel, and other construction‑related software.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with environmental remediation implementation, general construction earthwork activities, and waste management.
Strong eye for quality control during inspections and subcontractor oversight.
Highly effective written communication, timely documentation of daily activities and site issue reporting.
Experience communicating with multiple stakeholders, multiple sites, and subcontractors.
Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills.
OSHA 30‑hour construction training (a plus).
