We're looking for an experienced and collaborative Construction Manager who thrives when people are in sync and projects are running not just on time but within budget. Based at our client’s site in Denver, CO, you’ll be responsible for the management of a project through completion in accordance with program objectives. You’ll manage and provide construction oversight and resolve complex construction project related issues, disputes, and disagreements. Your excellent communication skills will be essential as you’ll be client‑facing.
As the onsite Construction Manager, you’ll be responsible for ensuring not only the progress and technical performance of projects, but also the materials management, budget, schedule, cost, scope development, design and construction contracts and documents, and safety of the team. You’ll lead schedule management, address quality issues, resolve contractor claims, and assess risk register to drive proactive action.
Review and manage contractor submittals, as‑built drawings, monthly pay applications, RFIs, and contract modifications
Manage construction cost and schedule, providing regular updates to GA's Project Director
Support contracts including negotiating modifications/claims and interpreting contract requirements, payment provisions, general conditions, drawings and specifications
Lead quality assurance operations and daily construction oversight at the project site through July 31, 2026
Conduct daily punch list inspections across all disciplines (architectural, mechanical, electrical) to verify contractor compliance with design specifications, RFIs, and bulletins
Coordinate with QC teams to ensure timely remediation of deficiencies per contract standards
Here's what you'll need
Extensive experience with classified/secure facility construction, specifically ICD 705 compliance and TEMPEST standards
Professional Engineer (PE) license or Certified Construction Manager (CCM) certification preferred
Strong background in government construction projects, particularly defense and aerospace facilities
5 to 15 years of construction management experience
