Various scheduling options available
Weekend and holiday obligations infrequent
In‑house call 3 pm – 7 am only 4‑5 times per year as part of regularly scheduled hours per week

Responsibilities
Performs and documents a pre‑anesthetic assessment and evaluation of the patient.
Develops and implements an anesthetic plan of care, including monitoring modalities and post‑anesthesia follow‑up evaluation and care.
Selects, obtains and administers the anesthetic plan of care, including induction, maintenance and emergence phase anesthesia.
Recognizes alterations in physiologic responses to the surgical procedure and/or the anesthetic, takes appropriate action and notifies the responsible physician as indicated.

Education
Graduate of accredited CRNA program
Certifications
Must have a current licensure as a registered nurse (RN) and a certified registered nurse anesthetist (CRNA) from the Ohio Board of Nursing.
Must have current certification and continued professional certification (CPC) with the National Board of Certification Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA) and State Board of Nursing endorsement.
Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) through American Heart Association (AHA) are required.
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) through American Heart Association (AHA) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) through American Academy of Pediatrics certifications may be required based on work setting.
Complexity of Work
Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
Must be able to work in a stressful environment

Requires full range of motion; manual and finger dexterity and eye‑hand coordination.
Requires standing and walking for extensive periods of time and the ability to lift and transport patients.
Requires corrected hearing and vision to normal range.
Requires some exposure to communicable diseases or bodily fluids.
Ability to work under extreme pressure
Personal Protective Equipment
Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
Pay Range Minimum Annual Salary:
$143,960.00
Maximum Annual Salary:
$259,110.00
The pay range displayed on this job posting reflects the anticipated range for new hires. A successful candidate’s actual compensation will be determined after taking factors into consideration such as the candidate’s work history, experience, skill set and education. The pay range displayed does not include any applicable pay practices (e.g., shift differentials, overtime, etc.).
