We’re reshaping the data storage industry. As a consulting field solutions architect focusing on unstructured data, you are part evangelist, part systems engineer, and part developer promoting Pure in the technical community.

You will share knowledge through blog posts, webinars, and presentations; sense market trends; identify new opportunities; consult and advise on architecting, managing, and scaling systems; give competitive analysis; design and implement POCs; build prototypes; and jump into new emerging technologies.

What You’ll Be Doing

Mainstream Unstructured Data knowledge and enablement projects.

Participate in customer‑facing calls, demos, POCs, EBCs, QBRs, and strategy sessions.

Lead webinars, events, and workshops.

Participate in solutions roadmap discussions with solutions architects and product management.

Stay abreast of product and partner offerings and competitors.

Maintain frequent Slack presence to drive customer influence.

Create field‑facing content such as technical walkthroughs, deep dives, and qualification guides.

Partner with Sales & SE Leaders for feedback and communication.

Inspire and motivate the field to achieve success and attract customers.

Engage cross‑functionally with GTM and corporate functions.

Communicate and align within the team and build relationships across Pure Storage.

What You Bring

Proficiency in SMB, NFS, Object storage, file protocols, TCP/IP networking, NAS, and enterprise datacenter design.

Deep expertise in unstructured data and related challenges, use cases, and trends.

10+ years of IT and cloud infrastructure experience across compute, storage, networking, cloud, business continuity, and performance.

Expertise in NAS architecture and enterprise design.

Strong customer‑centric mindset focused on delivering outcomes.

Experience designing and supporting data architectures for large enterprises.

Fast learner who adopts new technologies quickly.

Exceptional content creation, public speaking, technical training, and presentation skills.

Passionate about learning, teaching, mentoring, and coaching team members.

Highly collaborative and able to partner across organizations.

Effective communicator engaging leadership, peers, customers, partners, and industry stakeholders.

Self‑starter with strong problem‑solving skills in fast‑paced environments.

Ability to generate proactive ideas that support solution adoption and drive sales outcomes.

Salary and Compensation Annual base salary range: $168,000 — $299,000 USD. Eligible for incentive pay and/or equity.
