About the role The successful candidate will be the Wellbeing & Small Domestic Appliances (SDA) product leader within Electrolux Business Area North America. The incumbent will lead product line management, consumer experience, and product line/business strategy for the categories including Air Care, Floor Care and Small Domestic Appliances. This individual will take a strong leadership position to ensure that all North American Wellbeing & SDA product line plans align with overall Group and NA business plans and achieve financial/profitability objectives.

Where you'll be This position is hybrid from our Charlotte, NC HQ. Minimal local/international annual travel anticipated.

What you’ll do

Report into the North American CEO; oversee development, launch, and management of Wellbeing and SDA products in Business Area North America (BA NA), including short‑ and long‑term profitability.

Translate Wellbeing & SDA into successful 3‑to‑5‑year generation plans and category growth.

Ensure the Product Lines have a competitive range with the right profitability in all segments, brands, channels, and markets.

Provide leadership to the Product Line team.

Deliver Consumer Experience Innovation:

Focus on innovation, design and marketing.

Develop a best‑in‑class Wellbeing & SDA star product pipeline.

Focus on consumer quality experience.

In collaboration with the Global Category and innovation team, build and update a 3‑to‑5‑year product roadmap that includes sourced and licensed products based on consumer insight, customer requirements, competitor mapping, technology mapping, and sound business management principles.

Work with Sourcing teams both Regional and Global on new product solutions.

Protect and foster Electrolux intellectual property, patent portfolio, and differentiated platform development.

Deliver the financial commitments on new products through robust commercialization plans.

Ensure achievement of budget targets.

Drive team to improve product quality in market, accelerate launch of new product, and eliminate poor‑quality products in market.

Collaborate with CDI, Engineering, Purchasing and Suppliers to drive innovative solutions, cost outs, and quality improvements.

Take leadership accountability of the annual business plans, including monthly and quarterly P&L maintenance.

Support cross‑functional teams to drive technological breakthroughs, implement new product development plans, and ensure plans are delivered on‑time and on‑budget.

Collaborate and support the work across the organization to manage the product line’s long and short‑term profitability.

Cross‑functional Responsibilities:

Partner with Sales to optimize market pricing and drive profitable growth across channels.

Collaborate with Marketing to articulate product value proposition, ensure consistent messaging, and support effective go‑to‑market strategies and point‑of‑purchase material.

Work with Marketing to nurture consumer communities and build long‑term ecosystem engagement and lifetime relationships.

Align with Merchandising & Pricing to define pricing strategies that maximize growth, profitability, and market penetration.

Coordinate with Quality to embed quality into product design and phase out underperforming offerings.

Partner with Supply Chain to set sales, inventory, and delivery plans, manage product launches, and resolve bottlenecks.

Work with Purchasing to improve productivity and reduce costs through complexity management and design‑for‑manufacturing principles.

Collaborate with Industrial Design to ensure product benefits are clearly expressed through industrial design.

Align with Global Brand Licensing to develop and execute a strategic roadmap that guides the licensing approach and supports brand and market objectives.

Responsible for oversight of the resources (people, equipment, and budget) allocated for Wellbeing and SDA products in line with the category strategy.

Identify, lead and develop talent, Teamship, and Product Line leadership to maximize individual, team, and organizational effectiveness.

Foster a culture of Teamship with engagement, cascading vision, creating goal alignment, and coaching through collaboration feedback, development planning and performance management.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.

10+ years’ experience in Wellbeing & Small Domestic Appliance product management, sales or marketing leadership.

Experience in sourced product and portfolio management.

Documented results in a consumer products environment.

5+ years’ experience managing teams.

P&L, pricing/costing, sales, merchandising leadership experience preferred.

Flexibility in travel as regular travel abroad is required.

Strong understanding of merchandising strategy and brand management principles.

Experience in budget ownership, financial planning, and resource allocation.

Exceptional analytical and organizational skills with a track record of managing multiple complex projects under tight deadlines.

Outstanding communication skills—written, verbal, and visual—with experience presenting to diverse, senior‑level audiences.

Deep expertise in product development, manufacturing technologies, and consumer‑driven innovation.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word, with the ability to synthesize data and craft compelling presentations.
