Our customer is looking for a desktop support technician to provide onsite support at their San Francisco location. This person will be the sole IT technician providing support to 15 employees. Being in a customer support role, you will have the opportunity to learn existing business processes and provide technology feedback and suggestions to the team. This person will be responsible for providing level 1-2 onsite technical support; any issues that cannot be resolved can be escalated to the team in Baltimore. There will be opportunities to be proactive in support resolution by finding ways to enhance efficiency and quality of service to the customer’s colleagues. Day-to-day responsibilities include troubleshooting hardware/software issues, imaging, upgrading devices, supporting an O365 and Windows 10 environment. Interpersonal skills are extremely important for this role, as they are looking for someone comfortable providing face-to-face support.

Customer oriented:
Deliver high-level customer support and training to employees at all levels, explaining and resolving complex technical issues to a non-technical audience. Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
A self-starter:
Quick to respond to operational tasks, find opportunities for process improvement, prioritize tasks, work independently, supervise vendor visits, and ensure site work is done.
A natural problem solver:
Identify challenges, analyze root causes, understand rationale behind current setups, and recommend changes for improvement.
Common Technologies Exchange, O365, Active Directory, Printer Support, AV support, Imaging solutions.
Job Type & Location Contract to Hire, fully onsite in San Francisco, CA.
Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $47.00/hr.
