We are seeking a skilled and motivated
Cloud Security Engineer
to join our team in Miami, FL. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining security measures to protect our cloud infrastructure and services. You will work closely with development, operations, and security teams to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our cloud environments. Responsibilities
Design, implement, and manage cloud security architectures and controls. Monitor cloud environments for security threats and vulnerabilities. Develop and enforce security policies, standards, and best practices for cloud infrastructure. Conduct risk assessments and security audits of cloud systems. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security into the software development lifecycle (SDLC). Respond to and investigate security incidents related to cloud environments. Stay current with emerging cloud security technologies and threats. Automate security processes and controls using scripting and cloud-native tools. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field. 3+ years of experience in cloud security or related roles. Strong knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform. Experience with cloud security tools and technologies (e.g., IAM, encryption, firewalls, SIEM). Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, HIPAA, or GDPR. Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash. Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail. Relevant certifications (e.g., CCSK, CCSP, AWS Certified Security – Specialty) are a plus. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
