RN – Emergency Department (Travel) Morristown, NJ $58.43–$66.77 per hour 12-Hour Day Shifts | 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | Estimated 3 shifts/week Job Overview A-Line Staffing is seeking an experienced Travel Registered Nurse (RN) to support a fast-paced Emergency Department in Morristown, NJ. This position is ideal for an RN with strong emergency, critical care, or cardiac experience who thrives in a high-acuity environment and delivers patient-centered care across the lifespan. Key Responsibilities Perform thorough, systematic patient assessments from pediatric through geriatric populations Deliver safe, competent emergency nursing care using evidence-based practices Demonstrate proficiency with emergency equipment, procedures, and protocols Maintain accurate and complete documentation in compliance with hospital and regulatory standards Provide patient and family education throughout the continuum of care Promote patient satisfaction through professional, respectful communication Follow HIPAA , National Patient Safety Goals, and Universal Protocol standards Utilize safe patient handling and proper body mechanics Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams Prioritize care based on acuity and changes in patient condition Maintain accountability for assigned patients and outcomes Required Qualifications Active RN License – Required 1+ year experience in Emergency Department, Critical Care, or Cardiac Care BLS – Required ACLS – Required PALS – Required

(for Pediatric ER coverage) Education Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing Associate Degree required Bachelor’s Degree preferred Schedule Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM Shift Length: 12 hours Physical Requirements Must meet Occupational Safety / OMS physical requirements
