Pharmacy Technician – Front End (Contract-to-Hire) Tempe, AZ $21.50/hour Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM Job Overview A-Line Staffing is hiring a Front-End Pharmacy Technician for a contract-to-hire opportunity in Tempe, AZ. This role focuses on prescription data entry, exception processing, and patient/physician communication , with support of back-end fulfillment activities as business needs require. Key Responsibilities Enter new patient prescriptions and demographics into the pharmacy data processing system Process prescription exceptions, including claim rejections and insurance issues Communicate with patients and physician offices via phone and email Load insurance plans and coordination of benefits for new referrals Review and audit test claims for new patients/referrals Handle prescription reorders and email distribution as needed Perform image indexing and AE report filing Provide pharmacist call-back and patient quality assurance support Support specialized pharmacy programs (e.g., ETT, Pharma, disease-state programs) Assist with back-end fulfillment tasks such as picking, packing, and manifesting when needed Escalate clinical or prescription questions to a Pharmacist Perform other duties as assigned based on business needs Schedule & Overtime Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM Optional evening and weekend shifts available for overtime Qualifications High School Diploma or GED 2–4 years of Pharmacy Technician experience Current Arizona Pharmacy Technician registration and/or certification (required) Experience with prescription data entry and insurance processing Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment Basic computer skills and comfort working in pharmacy systems Strong communication and customer service skills Why You’ll Love This Role Competitive hourly pay Consistent weekday schedule Overtime opportunities available Contract-to-hire with long-term potential Supportive pharmacy team environment
