Love On A Mission
Summary
The Executive Director (ED) advances the mission of Love On A Mission through visionary leadership, organizational administration, fundraising, and community partnership. This role combines executive functions (fundraising, grant writing, operations, community partnerships) and direct programming (youth engagement, curriculum development, volunteer training, addressing diversity among LGBTQIA+ youth).
Hours:
15–20 per week |
Compensation:
~$25,000-30,000 annually
Responsibilities
Partner with Board of Directors to implement strategic vision
Work with Board of Directors and committees to prepare agendas and maintain nonprofit compliance, including Form 990 submission annually
Lead annual fundraising strategies (Gala, Richland Gives, Year-End Giving, Annual Campaign)
Manage donor cultivation, sponsorships, and community partnerships
Write and manage grants
Develop and implement a formalized, seasonal curriculum (Fall, Winter, Spring, Summer)
Programming Lead: responsible for 2 nights/week programming, seasonal curriculum design, volunteer oversight, and meal coordination
Ensure alignment with mission
Oversee youth programs (Mondays/Wednesdays), parent group, and community events (Pride, Jr. Gala)
Recruit, train, and supervise interns, volunteers, and guest facilitators
Represent Love On A Mission at speaking engagements, community meetings, and tabling events
Build partnerships with counselors, educators, and local organizations to promote LOAM
Preferred Qualifications
Nonprofit leadership experience
Fundraising and grant‑writing skills
Experience with youth programming (ideally includes experience with LGBTQIA+ individuals)
Strong organizational and communication skills
Strong community presence and ability to build partnerships
