Purpose of Position The Pilot is responsible for providing a superior air transportation experience with a continued safety record second to none on each and every flight. The Pilot is the face of NetJets, providing technically accurate and safe transportation while delivering an exceptional service experience for every NetJets Owner and passenger. The Pilot is expected to effectively wear many hats, delivering a concierge service level experience ranging from professional aviator to in‑flight service provider. The Pilot is in full command of the aircraft at all times and must always maintain a professional demeanor.
Tasks and Responsibilities
Safe operation of the aircraft from taxi, take‑off, and landing of each flight per FAA guidelines, Original Equipment Manufacturer’s (OEM) checklists, NetJets Flight Operations Manual (FOM) or Aircraft Operating Manual (AOM), and Standard Operating Practices (SOPs).
Greets owners/passengers pre‑flight, makes introductions and briefs them on the specific flight/trip, verifies itineraries, provides weather updates, and delivers safety briefings.
Handles in‑flight service including the handling of alcohol and catering.
Loads and stows all baggage on the aircraft.
Manages flights for owners with pets or who smoke.
Acts as the final authority on aircraft operation and safety compliance.
Acts as a liaison for owners/passengers and NetJets from arrival at the FBO until final landing.
Communicates maintenance abnormalities or discrepancies to the Company via the Maintenance Control Center (MCC) and completes associated paperwork.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Education
High School diploma or equivalent.
Certifications and Licenses
FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) or Restricted ATP.
First Class Medical Certificate.

Accredited FAA ATP, Restricted ATP, or R‑ATP with multi‑engine rating.
Minimum 21 years of age.
1,500 hours total flight time experience (or equivalent with ATP, R‑ATP, or military).
200 hours cross‑country (>50 nm) flight time.
250 hours fixed‑wing PIC.
100 hours of night flying (or 75 hours with ≥45 night takeoffs/landings).
75 hours instrument time.
50 hours fixed‑wing, multi‑engine time.
Current FAA First‑Class Medical certificate.
FCC Restricted Radio Operator’s Permit.
Valid passport and authorization to work in the U.S. and travel internationally.
Highly flexible schedule (day, night, weekends, holidays).
Ability to manage rest for flight duty and handle up to 50 lb of force as required.
Strong communication skills, quick decision‑making, and attention to detail.
Service‑oriented attitude with clean, professional appearance.
Comfortable working around animals and with smokers.
